Louisiana Lifestyle Portraits with the Williams Family

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

I am really excited to share this at home family session with you.  When the Williams family inquired about a front yard family lifestyle session, I knew we would be the perfect fit!  Their front yard overlooks a gorgeous Louisiana cow pasture and the sunset was just beautiful.  To me, this is what I want each session to exude.  Snuggles, cartwheels, tickle fests, flowering picking and tons of little moments in between.  Thanks to Fleur, Joey, Rowen & Elliot for giving me the privilege of a fun afternoon!

Norah's Ark Nursery & Family

Happy Wednesday ya'll!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mardi Gras break.  Here are a few of my favorite images from sweet Norah's newborn lifestyle session.  Mom and Dad designed the most beautiful animal themed nursery... hence "Norah's Ark." ;)  From the beautiful wooden panel accent wall, to the DIY crib mobile- it is perfect. 

Norah was just 5 days old when she made her modeling debut, and I have to say that her adorable poses and cute faces made my job very easy.  Special thanks to Tiffanie & Stefan for a wonderful session.  Ya'll were a blessing to work with.  Enjoy!

Baby Nora & Family

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!  After a lovely two week vacation and trip to Nashville with my husband, I feel refreshed and ready to officially start 2015. :)  I sat at my desk this morning in my pajamas with a large cup of coffee, opened my inbox and was thrilled to hear of so much exciting baby news!  I am looking forward to another year of getting to work with sweet families. 

First on the blog this year is the beautiful Basso Family!  I had the opportunity to shoot with them last month in their cozy southern Louisiana home for a newborn lifestyle session.  Baby Nora's nursery is decorated to perfection with a girly, whimsical, shabby chic vibe and she is as cute as a button (the cutest button ever).  During our session you could just feel the love these new parents have for their sweet daughter.  Here is a little look into our morning. 

Thanks to the Basso family for having me in their home to capture some sweet moments of Nora's first days.  Ya'll are so wonderful.  Enjoy!
