Carly & Matt's Engagement Portraits

Ecstatic to share Carly & Matt's engagement portraits with you today! Their southern engagement session was held at my favorite ranch in Zachary, Louisiana. Shout out to Mr. Larry for always being the best host!

Carly and Matt have been dating for 6 years! They are high school sweethearts and always put God first. They are probably the sweetest human beings you will ever meet. Seriously. I met Carly earlier this year when I was looking for a nanny for Liam. To say she has been a blessing to our family is an understatement. She loves Liam like her own child and has truly become a part of our every day. Liam loves her to the moon and back because she's beautiful inside and out. They have the sweetest bond. I thank God everyday that we crossed paths and could not be more excited for her and Matt during these months leading up to their wedding. Now that I'm done crying, please enjoy a few favorites from our afternoon together!

Carly and Matt, you two have THAT kind of love. It's special. Never lose it.  So incredibly happy for you both, and I know May 27th can't come soon enough! Enjoy!

Chaning's Romantic Bridal Portraits

After two months of having this blog post ready to go, I am so excited to share Chaning's bridal portraits with you! THIS location is everything, not to mention the beautiful bride and THAT dress. Chaning and her family love St. Francisville so venturing to St. Mary's Episcopal Church was a natural choice.  St. Mary's was built in 1857 and one of the few remaining rural antebellum chapels in Louisiana.  IT IS GORGEOUS.

Thrilled that we were able to make Chaning's bridal vision come to life. Congrats again to you Chaning! You are one of the sweetest and most beautiful people I know! Some shots from her and Trenton's wedding are coming soon. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!

Chaning & Trenton's Engagement Portraits

Happy Friday!  When I first met Chaning and Trenton last summer to talk about their wedding this fall (YAY!), they expressed their deep love for Louisiana (and LSU football).  Sooo what better place for engagement portraits than a plantation?! Greenwood Plantation in St. Francisville was the perfect backdrop for these two adorable lovebirds.  We twirled (can we talk about that Bliss Tulle skirt??), explored and stumbled upon the most gorgeous sunset.  If their wedding day is anything like this session, it's going to be perfect.
